  • What types of improvements can I expect?
    * Overcome inappropriate habits. Enjoy impulse control, self control, self confidence, self esteem. * Overcome fears, phobias, and anxiousness * Be free of unwanted emotions. Become clear and free minded. Be free of unwanted negative emotions from past experiences. * Improve or eliminate pain * Improve psychosomatic (emotionally) induced illnesses. Most illness has at least some causative emotional factors. To the extent that it is emotionally induced it can be improved with hypnotherapy processes. * My goal is to assist you in becoming clear and free minded desentisizing from past unpleasant experiences, collapsing unwanted negative emotions which change your behaviors. You will no longer be burdened by old unwanted feelings. As we work together in these processes you are to learn to do them for yourself, learning new mental and emotional skills.
  • Will I be under someone else's control during hypnotherapy?
    All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are in control of your hypnotic state in each moment. You can choose to explore your subconscious and the images, sensations, and memories there, or you can choose to open your eyes and return to the room at any time. 'Under hypnosis, subjects do not behave as passive automatons but instead are active problem solvers....- "One of the interesting ironies about hypnosis is that old fantasy that it takes away control," says leading expert Dr. David Spiegel of the Stanford University School of Medicine. "It's actually a way of enhancing people's control, of teaching them how to control aspects of their body's function and sensation that they thought they couldn't."
  • How many sessions will I need?
    Here is an example guide of average number of sessions for some behavioral changes: * Fears and phobias of heights, snakes, spiders, and other negative expectations of the outcome are accomplished to in one to three sessions and then one to two more sessions to learn the Positive Mind Management techniques. * Pornography, and desensitizations from abuse or other behaviors may take from one to eight sessions. * Abuse, neglect, and abandonment, and other sensitizing events, including grieving from the death of a loved one, divorce experience, or loss of a pet. Generally takes one to eight sessions depending on how many experiences you have that are still unresolved. * Bedwetting in older children (eight years or older) is usually accomplished in one or two sessions with a strengthening follow-up-session. One - one hour session ($75) and two one half hour ($37.50 each) follow-up sessions a week apart. Yes, for $150 you can stop washing all that bedding. * Sales performance - Overcoming the natural fears and phobias we all experience such as fear of rejection, fear of the unknown, fear of I'm not good enough, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of being smart enough, capable enough, and just being enough from past personal sensitizing events may require up to six sessions. You will do ongoing strengthening with CD listening. Then one or two more sessions are required to learn the Positive Mind Management techniques. * Stop smoking - Generally three sessions one week apart with strengthening CD listening on a nightly basis. Then one or two more sessions are required to learn Positive Mind Management. * Sports performance enhancement is normally one to three sessions. You will do ongoing strengthening with CD listening. Then one to two more sessions are required to learn the Positive Mind Management. * Weight management - Generally it takes four to eight sessions. We will desensitize past food associations, eliminate emotional cravings and eating. You will enjoy impulse control and have greater self-control and confidence than you ever imagined. You will do ongoing strengthening with CD listening. Then one or two more sessions are required to learn the Positive Mind Management. * In an average of six sessions, and if you do the homework in between sessions you will be amazed at the positive changes you will make in your life!
  • Do I need to do anything in between sessions?
    You should journal each session. Journaling causes you to rethink and reinforce the learning of each session. I also encourage purchasing and using the CDs and Books we have available for you. This will make the value of your investment in yourself last a life time as these new mental skills give you enhanced ongoing coping capacity in new stressful situations. You will thrive in life, not just merely survive.
  • Are discounts available?
    Discounts are available for committing to a package of prepaid sessions. You will gain incrementally from any number of hypnotherapy sessions you do, so if payment is an issue, just do the sessions as time and money permit, and keep listening to the strengthening CD program, reading, and practicing the new mental techniques in the Positive Mind Management book, and you will continue to make enjoyable improvements.
  • Can I do sessions online?
    Yes, I do sessions online through Zoom. I will send you a link when the session is set up. You will need to be where you can be quiet and alone for the duration of the session. You can use a lounge chair, couch, or prop yourself up with pillows on a bed.
  • What if I can't be hypnotized?
    If you have ever been asleep, or ever woken up you have passed through all the stages of hypnosis. That is why they call it going down to sleep, we pass down through each stage, and waking up, we come up through each stage. If you have ever daydreamed, you have been in trance. If you have ever had emotions, you have been in trance. If you have every thought of memories, you have been in trance. We dehypnotize more people than we hypnotize. We all need to learn to be mindful and in control of our thoughts.
